Pricing Policy

LinusHost hosting services may be offered either free of charge or upon payment of periodic fees, the amounts of which are disclosed in the specific sections of the website where the products are advertised. LinusHost reserves the right to change the values of its hosting plans at any time, including for ongoing contracts, provided that the conditions previously agreed upon at the time of hiring are respected.

Backup Policy

LinusHost is not responsible for the creation or storage of backups for VPS or dedicated servers. Data custody and maintenance are the sole responsibility of the client. As a courtesy, we perform periodic backups for web hosting services (shared plans). However, even in these cases, it is the client's responsibility to maintain external security copies outside of the LinusHost infrastructure.

Suspension or Cancellation of Services

LinusHost reserves the right to suspend or cancel services if it detects abuse or misuse that compromises the integrity of the services provided to other clients. Service normalization will occur upon correction by the client of the problems indicated by the technical team. Reasons that may justify temporary suspension include:

1. Sending SPAM or inappropriate use of email servers (SMTP);
2. Traffic overload caused by robots or software that impact service performance;
3. Excessive processing generated by scripts, applications, or databases;
4. Publication of illegal content or content that infringes on copyrights and other current legislation.

Email Sending Policy

It is expressly forbidden to use LinusHost hosting services for SPAM practices. Any email sent without the recipient's prior consent will be considered SPAM.

Refund Policy

A refund will only be considered if the client has not used the service within 24 hours after hiring. After the plan activation, refunds will not be possible. Operational costs may be deducted depending on the payment method used. All services provided by LinusHost are non-refundable, including monthly contracts, upgrades, and administrative fees. In case of incorrect billing, the client must open a ticket with the financial department.

Limitations of Traffic Usage and Data Transfer

Each plan has limits for traffic, storage, and other resources as specified on the website. The client can monitor their consumption through the control panel. Upon reaching the storage limit, it will not be possible to add new files, requiring the deletion of data or an upgrade to a higher plan.

Characteristics of Hosting Plans

The characteristics of the plans may be modified at any time. However, active contracts will remain with the agreed terms until the end of the contracted period.

Regarding VPS and Dedicated Servers

LinusHost reserves the right to suspend services in case of misuse, including but not limited to: DDoS attacks, use of SPRUT, IRC, Torrents, miners, injectors, proxies, Squid, Tor, bots, and any forms of botnet.
By hiring, the client is aware that servers may be located in datacenters both in Brazil and abroad, as specified in the plans published on the website. It is recommended to request an IP for latency tests (PING/TRACERT) before hiring to verify the ideal performance for your location. The password is for the client's exclusive use, and they are responsible for its safekeeping. In case of loss, the only way to recover it will be by formatting the server.

Payment Methods

For domestic payments (Brazil), we accept Pix, Boleto, and Credit Card via MercadoPago. For international payments, we use PayPal and Stripe.

Final Note

By using LinusHost services, the client agrees to all the terms described above. If you do not agree, we recommend that you do not complete the hiring process. LinusHost is not responsible for the client's failure to read the terms in full.
