Foundation — 2016

LinusHost was born in 2016, in a scenario of growing demand for quality hosting services. From the beginning, our infrastructure was established outside Brazil, in Canada, with the goal of offering robust and reliable solutions in web hosting and VPS servers.

From the very first steps, we have always sought to work with the best hardware, cutting-edge products, and high-performance links, ensuring a high uptime rate and next-generation services.

Between 2016 and 2020, LinusHost began to gain ground in the market, being recognized by clients and partners for its quality, reliability, and commitment to excellence. This period marked the beginning of a solid trajectory that would lead us to expansion in the following years.

Expansion and Consolidation — 2020

In 2020, we started a new phase with the complete update of our website, presenting a modern and visually attractive layout, with the characteristic blue identity of LinusHost. This renewal strengthened our digital presence and highlighted our commitment to quality and innovation.

Throughout this period, until the end of 2024, we experienced our greatest peak of growth. LinusHost stood out mainly for its protection against DDoS attacks, becoming a reference in Brazil and, especially, in Latin America, for DDoS protection for Lineage 2 servers.

Maintaining our premise since the foundation, we continue to invest in the best hardware, high-quality links, and strategic service providers. In addition to our operation in Canada, we also implemented a network in Miami, expanding our coverage and ensuring low latency for servers hosted both in Brazil and abroad.

In August 2024, we began a new phase with the implementation of our first colocation in Cotia, São Paulo, bringing to Brazil a new data center equipped with Dell enterprise hardware, acquired directly from our partner. This milestone further reinforced our commitment to quality, offering high-performance machines, low latency, and DDoS protection directly in Brazil, consolidating our position as a reference for clients across Latin America.

Technological Advancement — 2026

Since the implementation of our first machine in São Paulo in August 2024, LinusHost's trajectory has been marked by structured growth, strategic planning, and continuous technological evolution. Each step was executed solidly, establishing the foundation of the infrastructure that currently supports our services.

In January 2025, we installed our second dedicated server in colocation in the state of São Paulo, using Dell Enterprise servers, RAID-configured storage, Server-Grade memory, and the latest generation AMD EPYC processors, ensuring high performance, stability, and computational capacity for critical environments.

Thanks to the excellent performance of this expansion, just two months later, in March 2025, we added our third machine in Brazil as well, significantly expanding our national infrastructure and increasing our capacity to absorb new clients and projects with higher processing demands.

Also in 2025, we continued our expansion plan with the implementation of the fourth server in our colocation facility in São Paulo, located in Cotia. In this way, we ended 2025 with four state-of-the-art servers operating in production, consolidating a robust, scalable infrastructure prepared for continuous growth.

This consolidation marked an important leap in our technological capacity. Our infrastructure began operating with Server-Grade DDR4 and DDR5 (RDIMM) memory, designed for continuous operation and high durability; 24Gbps Enterprise SAS disks, which guarantee high transfer rates and consistency for VPS, corporate applications, and gaming servers; In addition to AMD EPYC processors from the Milan and Genoa lines, offering high processing power and efficiency for intensive workloads.

Also in 2025, we expanded our international presence with the opening of our PoP (Point of Presence) in Amsterdam, Europe. This structure acts primarily as a connection proxy with advanced DDoS protection, optimizing international routes and reducing latency for European gamers connected to servers hosted in Brazil, providing greater stability and a better gaming experience.

At the end of 2025, LinusHost achieved another strategic milestone by implementing its own Autonomous System in Brazil — ASN 274373 | LINUSHOST LTDA. Adopting our own ASN represents a significant advancement in terms of operational independence, routing control, network path optimization, and strengthening the company's technical identity on the global internet, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to innovation and quality in connectivity delivery.

We ended 2025 with a mature infrastructure, high processing capacity, and ample room for expansion, prepared to support the company's accelerated growth.

In February 2026, we began a new phase with the launch of our completely restructured website — a modern, optimized platform prepared for global operation. The new environment was developed with support for multiple languages ​​and multiple currencies, allowing us to serve clients in Brazil, Europe, and North America. Maintaining the visual identity based on LinusHost's standard blue, the new website reinforces our commitment to technology, clarity, and professionalism.

As part of the continuous evolution of our global infrastructure, we also began operating with a strategic presence in Beauharnois, Quebec — Canada.

This location was chosen for its privileged geographic position, offering excellent connectivity between North America, Europe, and Latin America. The Canadian infrastructure allows for balanced latency and optimized routes for projects with an international audience distributed across continents.

In parallel, throughout 2025 and with consolidation in early 2026, LinusHost significantly evolved its DDoS attack protection architecture. We implemented an advanced stateful mitigation model, capable of analyzing and tracking TCP connections in real time, accurately identifying malicious patterns and intelligently blocking attacks without impacting legitimate connections. This evolution considerably increased our mitigation effectiveness, preparing the infrastructure for the increased complexity of attacks in the coming years.

Today, LinusHost operates with distributed infrastructure in Brazil, Europe, and North America, prepared to serve clients throughout Latin America, the United States, and Europe. Our architecture offers cutting-edge technology, low latency, high reliability, and multi-layered DDoS protection, serving everything from high-end game servers to high-end servers.
